Bäckdalens Handelsträgård and Café Orangeriet are located on the Bjäre-peninsula in the small village of Hallavara.

In the garden and greenhouses, you will find a handpicked selection of ingredients and vegetables to make and refine your dishes. Whether it's herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants or chili - you will find what you need.

Right behind the greenhouses is the Café Orangeriet: a quiet and welcoming place in the middle of the garden. We offer a wide selection of homemade sandwiches, cakes, and pastries - everything you want for your Swedish fika.

In 2015, the café was awarded with the "Årets Värt en Resa" ("worth a detour of the year") price in White Guide Café - one of Sweden’s most prestigious culinaric guide.
 
It is also possible to rent the Café Orangeriet for events, such as birthdays or wedding receptions.
