in Greenhouses

In our cold greenhouse we grow many different kinds of tomatoes from pale yellow to the deepest red, almost black. From the beginning of July to early autumn you will find plum tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and beefsteak tomatoes. In our growing beds in the greenhouses we also grow chili plants, cucumbers, peppers and string beans. During the summer months there are different kinds of herbs and basil in large pots.

Most of the harvest goes to our café, but there is always something to buy at Bäckdalen during the summer season, May - September.

Behind our greenhouse there is an old garden...

...with some herbs, lavender, berry bushes and newly planted fruit trees. Adjacent to the back you will find an old wooden greenhouse without glass that we call the Pergolan. It is a wild, shady garden to cool off in on hot summer days and a paradise for small children.
