Here you will find hearty sandwiches and
salads with local delicacies

In the converted old stable you will find Café Orangeriet. Here, baking is done with love and almost everything is organic and locally produced. Here you will find hearty sandwiches and salads with local delicacies from Lindegrens, Ebbessons farm dairy, cheeses from Skottorps dairy, Bjärehalvöns chark & delikatess, Bjärefågel and Kajs Fisk och Rökeri. The sandwiches are served with home-grown organic tomatoes, vegetables and salads. The Orangeriet is also open for bookings for weddings and parties.

In the café you will also find the most delicious cakes...

...the cakes and mostly Maggan's popular buns filled with cinnamon, vanilla or almonds and cardamom. You will find classic pastries such as Grandma Signe's caramel cookies, ambrosia cake with rosemary and chocolate bread with mint, to more modern ones such as brownies, raw chocolate balls and different types of cheesecake. We also bake gluten- and lactose-free. The pastries are often decorated with edible flowers from our own garden.

Husband Anders
makes the dough for sourdough bread

In the kitchen, Margaretha is the boss, trained by some of Sweden's best bakers and pastry chefs. Her husband Anders makes the dough for sourdough bread, buns and spelt rolls, which are baked with organic flour from Berte Qvarn, Mantalsbacken organic and swirled flour from Appell's farm, and eggs from their own chicken farm. The sourdough bread and spelt rolls are sold every Saturday year-round in the bread stall on the farm.

In our courtyard you will find the bread stall, which is open every Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.

Here you can buy our freshly baked bread, spelt buns and usually cinnamon, vanilla and cardamom buns. We always bake with organic flour from Berte Qvarn and Mantalsbacken eco in Boarp and swirled flour from Appells lantbruk. All our breads are long-leavened and most of them are sourdough. We work with scalds and pre-doughs for all our baked goods.
You can also call/email us and order (latest Wednesdays) buns, cakes and bread, pick up on Saturdays.
